We provide concept to commissioning services in the hydropower and small hydro sector. We have successfully executed over 30 assignments in the Large and Small Hydropower sectors. The projects for which engineering services have been provided are located in India, Nepal, Laos, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Uganda and other geographics. The services provided included feasibility studies, design of hydraulic and non-hydraulic structures, Detailed Project Report, Tender Engineering, Detailed Design and Project management services. Notable among the projects include Sawalkot HEP (1856MW) Jammu & Kashmir, Teesta III HEP (1200MW) Sikkim, Pare HEP (110MW), Teesta VI HEP (500MW), Gaj III SHEP (5MW) and several other projects.

From the civil side, our expertise includes Hydrology, Water Availability Studies, Design Flood studies, Power potential Studies, Geological appraisal of surface and underground works, River Diversion arrangement, coffer dams, Spillways hydraulics, energy dissipation system, dam stability Analysis, Power intakes, hydraulic and structural aspects, water conductor system, Layout, Sizing, and Head loss calculations, rock support system design for tunnels, the structural calculation for lining, surge tanks, transit analysis, under pressure shaft, surface and underground powerhouses, Tailrace system, Downstream surge tanks and outlet structures.

As far as the Electromechanical is concerned, our expertise includes a selection of turbine types, Powerhouse planning, Turbo generators, bus ducts, transformers, auxiliary units, the balance of plants such as EOT crane, and cooling water system, firefighting system, control system, Port headyard and power evacuation. Our Teams have worked on Dam to Powerplant Layouts and plants with long water conductor systems with powerhouses several kilometres downstream. While planning hydropower projects, we take due note of Environment and social factors, including the provision of E- Flows.
